Capita awarded place on PSN Services Framework

Capita IT services today announced it has been selected as a supplier for eight lots* of the Public Services Network (PSN) Services Framework.

Capita’s IT services business today announced it has been selected as a supplier for eight lots* of the Public Services Network (PSN) Services Framework.

Available to all public sector organisations including central and local government, health, education and emergency services, the PSN Services Framework will enable efficient procurement and the delivery of shared services, reducing costs and improving outcomes.

Supplier selection for the PSN Framework involved a rigorous evaluation process, in which Capita demonstrated its ability to deliver proven IT solutions that transform public sector services.

Mark Quartermaine, managing director of Capita’s IT Services business commented:
“The pressure is on for the public sector to deliver more for less and keep procurement simple and effective.  The good news about the purchasing framework is that it ticks those boxes and supports the need for innovation in service delivery which ultimately benefits our clients’ end users.

“Capita’s award on the PSN Service Framework builds on our recent successes on the PSN Connectivity Framework, the G-Cloud Framework and JANET Brokerage. These awards demonstrate that we have the scale and expertise to support the transformation of services and deliver first-class solutions to the public sector and the citizens it serves.”
